Mutara had a normal childhood growing up. Having an identical twin made life fun. They'd play practical jokes on family, friends, and school teachers. Mutara decided at an early age of 9 that she wanted to serve in Starfleet. Three of her brothers had already joined. She enrolled in Martial Art and self-defense classes. By the time she was 17, she was at the top of her class along with another person. Her teacher recommended that she teach it since she was very good at it. She followed the recommendation.

2359-65/At 18, she joined Starfleet Academy Medical and continued to teach self-defense until she graduated.
2365-67/Graduated, Assigned to the USS Triton to serve her internship.
2367-69/She was promoted to Lt. (j.g.) and was given position of AMO. During repairs, Mutara met Captain Paul MacLeod (Cmdr. at the time) They fell in love and got engaged. She called it off 3 months later.
2369-72/Promoted to Lieutenant. She met up with Captain Paul MacLeod again. The agreed to try to rekindle their relationship.
2372-74/Transfered to USS Thunderchild by request of Captain MacLeod. She was promoted to Lt. Commander and given the position of CMO.
2374-75/In the early part of the year, Paul on an went on an away mission and ended up missing...presumed dead. Six months later, he was found but had trouble coping with the kidnapping. after finally able to get past it, he asked her to marry him. Immediately, they got married.
2375-present/Mutara became friends with Tonya Dragon (Zarek's wife). Three months later, she became godmother to Tonya and Zarek's twins. Paul ended up missing again and Mutara fell apart. Found out that Martok was in love with her and planned to marry her. Martok also kidnapped Mutara. He poisoned her to make sure she would leave Paul and marry him. Once married, he would give her the antidote. Rescued, she tricked Martok into giving her the antidote. Later, she found out that she was pregnant but lost it due to the poison. It isn't sure if she can have anymore. Paul now serves as Strategic Operations Officer and Mutara is still CMO but they have transfered to the USS George Washington.

She is a very caring and compassionate person which shows in her outward appearance. When she gets nervous, she has a tendency to babble and when she is mad, she gets very quiet. Some would say that when she get involved in a project, she gets too excited about it. She tries to find the good in everyone and everything. She loves her job as CMO but hates it when she has to go on away missions and do other tasks not involving the medical field. She says that "alien races who have no regard for life ought to be wiped out of the universe...especially the Borg." She has a very good sense of humor. She has been known to pull some practical jokes...in fact, she loves a good joke. She is very level headed. She doesn't give up without a fight. It is believed that because of her strong self-preservation instincts, it saved her from being killed at age 17. She is also a fast learner and an excellent marksman. She puts the tip of her fingernail between her top and bottom teeth while she thinks. She likes to go to the holodecks and shoot of various guns ranging from the 19th century and on. Her favorite gun is the.357 magnum. She also loves archery. Of course, her first love is Martial Arts. She also loves camping out and hiking. She hates dishonesty, fake people, and nosey people. She is single and would like to marry some day. She hasn't been on a date since she came aboard. In her room, she has various handguns displayed in glass cases on her walls. If you walked into her quarters, you wouldn't know it belonged to a woman. She doesn't like frilly things; likes simplicity. You'll also find Martial Arts Tournament medals she won.
Born to Brett and Tammy Talmage on Starbase 19. Both parents were killed in a shuttlecraft accident during a ion storm when she was 7. She was sent to live with foster parents. She was later adopted by Musaki and Sumi Uey. Both parents taught and competed in Martial Art Tournaments and taught her. By the time she was 15, she was competing in various tournamentswhich she won about 2/3rds of them. At 17, she watched her dad, Musaki, get murdered in cold blood The assailant went after her and Tameara fought tooth and nail but she lost and he stabbed her, leaving her for dead. She went into shock which led to "hyterical amnesia". She doesn't remember anything about the the event that evening even to this day.
She can be your best friend and a good listener. She has a compassion for people and she is loyal to family, friends and Starfleet. Being schooled in other fields is very useful. She can also be your most dangerous enemy. People have a tendency to take advantage of her because she is so caring and compassionate.

Rayna Lamar was born to a Computer Tech and a housewife. Her dad was a very strict and opinionated father who didn't believe in women having careers. He used to tell Rayna that "women belong at home, not traveling the universe."Her mom one the other hand was a quiet woman. Rayna gained her dad's love for computers, always observing and learning hen she could.
Rayna Lamar knew that she didn't want to end up like her mother so she entered Starfleet Academy when she was 17, against her parents wishes. When she was 19, She was attacked by a cadet which resulted in pregnancy. She left Starfleet and entered counseling. after the birth of her child, Niki Lamar, she returned to the academy to finish her training. She graduated 12th in her class.
Note: The child is now living with her parents until she can come to terms with the rape and learn to accept her child which is a constant reminder of it.
Rayna Lamar has been serving on the USS Enterprise-F as an Ensign, then Lieutenant (jg) and assigned as Deputy Security/Tactical Officer. In 2399, the Chief S/T Officer was killed and Rayna was promoted to Lieutenant and Chief S/T Ofiicer.
When she isn't on duty, she loves to work out and continues her martial arts training. (She believes that if she knows how to defend herself, no one could ever do what that cadet did.)
Other loves and hobbies include hiking, horsebackriding, music (playing, singing and writing) and sculpting.
She has the qualities of both parents...compassionate, friendly, but strong willed, self-disciplined, and she seems to feel more comfortable with those older than her.
